The morning greets a new member of the Ramos family, Buster the goldfish.
It’s a fish from one of Vinca’s fishing trips, and she decided to give this one a new home.

Here’s Stanley, hard at work in sprucing up those plants before autumn sets in, finally wearing something sensible while doing so.

Here’s Miranda tickling one of the younger twins who weren’t shown ever in this blog ever since their birth after her jog; this one’s Gaby, and she loves getting her tickles.

Here’s the youngest twin, Ramona, who isn’t affected by the excited squeals and continue.
The reason for Ramona’s hair color is still up to debate among the confused family members, though Stanley insists that he really didn’t dye it or anything.

Miranda joins in her son Lukas, who has just recently aged-up and whose birthday I may have accidentally forgotten, in a game that his sisters before him have previously played.
(Author’s note: This is also the last picture that I have of Lukas as a child, because I am forgetful)

Eva really loves her nieces and nephew, and makes sure to grab every opportunity to spend time with the youngest ones.

Stanley wishes that Eva could have at least changed Ramona’s diaper before suspiciously leaving the house on such short notice.

Lukas has finally caught up with his older sisters in the teenage years. Unfortunately for him, he hasn’t caught up with their skills in the art of sleeping comfortably in the presence of a crying toddler, yet.
He loves his younger sisters, he really do, but it just pains him to see that just when they were suddenly crying, they go back to sleep just as quickly. Lukas goes back to sleep, defeated.

His sisters appear to be in a better mood in the morning though, so that’s something everyone can be happy with.

Chelsea brings home a classmate for a paired science homework, but she’s starting to doubt his intentions with the way he makes a beeline for her father’s butterfly collection.

She lets him off the hook for any potential kleptomaniac tendencies when she sees the unabashed amazement on his face.
“I named that one Robert,” Chelsea says out loud, in an attempt to show off.

Not that Chelsea’s intentions were any better; she was starting to get desperate for a date since prom night is already in the horizon. And she’d really like to get a date.
Jasen Johnston looks a bit cute, and he seems fun to be with, and he’s kinda her type, but she settled for having him as a homework partner when he starts to sing.

Vinca, on the other hand, is more preoccupied with drawing possible dress designs for prom.

A random picture of Eva with a cane, which she bought days ago just for a dramatic impact on Miranda.
(Also featuring the rotten dish and unfinished cooking)

It’s finally prom night. Chelsea thinks she should do something with her hair for a change (but ends up doing nothing anyway).

Despite her very elaborate designs, Vinca actually settles for something very simple instead.
She smiles at Lukas, who is leaving for his part-time job and couldn’t attend prom due to aging up too late to catch up with the pre-registration. Poor guy.

Meanwhile, the parents decide to hog the game system while their kids are out at school.
Stanley is not happy with his controller; Miranda knows how glitchy that one can be and had chosen hers intentionally, and is happily winning the game to her advantage.

Lukas wakes up to the lights being turned on and to a loud thud from the front yard. He blinks sleepily at Vinca, who is focused on removing her fake eyelashes with careful precision.
“Where’s Chelsea?” He yawns. It’s probably 10 in the evening now; he goes to bed very early after finishing his homework.
Vinca stops and looks at Lukas with wide eyes. “Wait, she’s not behind me?”

Looks like someone had too much punch.
(Author’s note: This was a fun chapter to write. I seriously did not realize that Chelsea was still not inside the house, and there you go. All snug and cozy among the plants.)
